DDW Pic 1565. River Country
River Country was the first water park at Walt Disney World. Although it closed more than 14 years ago, it surprisingly still sits untouched behind large fences. It is rundown and overgrown, but still exists at Fort Wilderness. This River Country ticket booth is out in the open next to the entrance to Mickey's Backyard BBQ. If you look closely, it still advertises a "Relaxing Pool and Springs" and "White Water Rafting."
